Ingredients For Spicy Chicken Sliders

  1. Slider Buns – I used a 12-pack of slider brioche rolls to make this recipe. You can use any mini bread rolls or burger buns.
  2. Chicken – I used boiled shredded chicken. You can also use store bought roast chicken.
  3. Chilli Sauce- Use any chilli sauce you like. I used hot chilli sauce.
  4. Tomato Sauce– it just balances the flavour.
  5. Jalapenos – to add little spiciness and crunchiness. I used Homemade Pickled Jalapenos. If you are making this for kids, this can be skipped.
  6. Cheese – I used shredded mozzarella cheese. You can also use cheese slices.
  7. Mayonnaise – adds extra flavour to the chicken. Use whole egg mayonnaise.
  8. Salt & Black pepper – For seasoning. Use freshly cracked black pepper instead of powder.
  9. Butter and Italian Seasoning – melted butter and Italian seasoning for brushing on top of sliders.

How to Make Spicy Chicken Sliders?

Prepare the chicken – Boil chicken with a little salt and vinegar until cooked. Shred it, then mix with chilli sauce, tomato sauce, mayonnaise, salt, and freshly cracked black pepper until well combined.

    Cut the rolls – Using a serrated knife, slice the slider rolls in half horizontally (keeping the set of rolls joined together).

      Assemble – In a rectangular baking dish, place the bottom half of the rolls. Spread the chicken filling evenly, then add shredded mozzarella cheese. Top with sliced jalapeños and place the top half of the rolls over. Brush the tops with melted butter mixed with Italian seasoning.

        Bake – Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 10–15 minutes, or until the tops are golden and the cheese is fully melted.

          Storing Tips for Sliders

          Spicy Chicken Sliders are best enjoyed fresh out of the oven while the buns are soft and the cheese is gooey.

          If you have leftovers, cover the baked sliders with foil or cling wrap and store them in the fridge for up to 2 days. To reheat, place them in a preheated oven for a few minutes until warmed through and the tops are crisp again. Avoid microwaving, as it can make the buns soggy.

          Ingredients
            

          • 600 g Boiled Chicken (Shredded) See Notes
          • 12 Slider Rolls
          • 1 tbsp Tomato Sauce
          • 1 tbsp Mayonnaise
          • tsp Chilli Sauce or Hot Sauce
          • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella
          • Jalapenos As required
          • 2 tbsp Melted Butter
          • ½ tsp Italian Seasoning
          • ½ tsp Black pepper
          • ¼ tsp Salt

          Instructions
           

          • Preheat oven at 180 ° C and prepare a tray lined with baking papper. Or Brush the baking tray with melted butter.
          • In a bowl put shredded chicken and add tomato sauce, chilli sauce, mayonnaise, salt and black pepper. Mix well until combined.
          • Cut the slider rolls with a serrated knife and place the bottom part in the baking tray.
          • Spoon over the chicken mixture evenly. Put cheese over it and add Jalapenos as desired.
          • Put the top part of slider buns over. Combine butter and Italian seasoning. Brush it over the buns.
          • Bake them in the oven until the cheese melts and the buns are golden brown. Serve Immediately.

          Notes

          • You can boil the chicken and shred it or use store bought roast chicken.
