- Salt & Black Pepper – For seasoning
- Red Chilli Flakes – For a subtle kick
- Onion (Optional) – Finely chopped for added crunch
- Chaat Masala – Adds that irresistible tangy, spicy flavour
If you like add green chilies or any herbs like coriander or mint.

Quick Cucumber Raita
Ingredients
- 1 cup Yoghurt See Notes
- 1 Medium Cucumber See Notes
- 1/2 Onion Chopped See Notes
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- ¼ tsp Chilli Flakes
- ¼ tsp Chaat Masala ( extra for sprinkling on top)
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Peel Cucumber leaving half the skin on. Grate them and set aside.
- Whisk Yoghurt in a bowl. Add grated Cucumber, onions and spices. Mix well
- Sprinkle with Chaat Masala. Garnish with chilies, coriander or chopped Mint ( this is optional)
Notes
- Use creamy yoghurt like Greek Yoghurt. If the yoghurt is water strain it.
- Use Lebanese cucumber. If the cucumbers are very watery squeeze the excess water out.
- Adjust Spice according to your choice.
- Add green chilli, chopped herbs like coriander or mint if you like.
