Ingredients for Banana Bread

Bananas – Use ripe bananas that have soft to touch. They should be mashed easily.

Chocolate Chips – You can use milk chocolate or dark chocolate chips. I personally like dark chocolate chips as it balances sweet ripe bananas and sugar.

Brown Sugar – Adds rich deep flavour to the banana bread.

Butter – Use unsalted butter, melted in microwave.

Milk – Full cream milk.

Eggs – use eggs that are at room temperature.

HOW TO MAKE BANANA BREAD

Making this banana bread is as easy as 1 2 3. No mixer needed, just one mixing bowl and a whisk

  1. Mix Brown sugar with butter, eggs and mashed bananas.
  2. Fold in flour, baking powder, baking soda and milk. Add Chocolate chips.
  3. Bake !!

The mixture doesn’t needs to be smooth, its okay to have lumpy batter. Don’t over mix it !

You can some chocolate chips in the batter and sprinkle the remaining on the top. I like more chocolate chips on top rather than inside the banana bread. Feel free to add them on top or in the batter as per your choice.
