Funnel Cake
Crispy, fried funnel cakes dusted with powdered sugar is an absolute treat - light batter fried until golden brown and dusted with icing sugar.

- 1/2 Cup Plain Flour
- 1/4 Cup Milk
- 2 tbsp Icing Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- Oil for frying
- Extra Icing sugar for dusting
- Ice cream and Strawberries to serve
Put a skillet or frying pan with oil on medium heat. Allow it to heat up while you prepare the batter.
In a mixing bowl add plain flour, sugar and baking powder, combine them.
Add egg and milk, Whisk it to make a smooth batter.
Pour the mixture into a piping bag, squeezy bottle or funnel. Using circular motion pour the batter into oil while overlapping.
Once it turns golden brown, gently flip it using tongs. When done on other side too, take it out and drain on a paper towel.
Dust it with icing sugar and serve with your favourite toppings.
