Make sure chicken is dry, add all marination ingredients and mix well. Leave it for around 30 minutes.
Heat oil in the pan. Once the oil is hot turn the flame to medium low. Fry chicken until golden crisp and fully cooked. If shallow frying it will take around 25 mins and deep frying should take 15 minutes
Drain the drumsticks on a paper towel.
Prepare Sauce
In a pan heat oil and fry garlic for a minute. Add all the ingredients and mix well.
Once the sauce is bubbling add chicken and toss to coat the sauce evenly.
Sprinkle sesame seeds, green onion and red Chilli (optional)
Notes
You can also use chicken wings or thighs.
Chicken can be deep fried or shallow fried.
